May 5, 2009 - PTA Meeting at 7pm

Dear Members,
The Nominating committee consisting of Ivan Maertens Aramayo, Scott Nance and Tiffany Stokes, convened in April to create a plan of action for fulfilling the requirements for the nominating committee set forth by the Lake Seneca PTA Bylaws.  All three members have worked hard contacting PTA members who the committee (and through member referrals) felt would be an asset to the PTA executive committee. 

The committee would like to thank all those members who we have contacted and who have supported our efforts by making referrals for executive positions.  As you will note, there are positions open on the committee.  Anyone interested in a position on the Executive committee, regardless if there is a current nomination, can nominate a current dues paying member from the floor at the May 5th General Membership meeting.  Please note that the Nominating committee will continue to seek members who are interested in serving the Executive committee to facilitate the election process on May 5th .  Even now, there are some members who are considering the open positions and will make their intentions known through nominations from the floor.

• Lake Seneca PTA is looking for 100% participation this school year. It's not too late! Please fill out the membership form and bring it to the PTA table at Back to School night!
